H.P. Lovecraft Ex Libris Bookplate

from £3.50

Our ex libris bookplates—produced by a small, family-owned printer in Scotland—offer a distinctive way to indicate ownership of your books. This beautiful design depicts a mysteriously ajar door, letterpress printed on the highest-quality adhesive stock. The design is based on the bookplate Wilfred Blanch Talman designed for H.P. Lovecraft in 1927 as a thank you for revision work HPL had provided. Lovecraft was delighted by the design, saying "There is surely art, mystery, & dignity about an austere, half-closed door". Available individually or in a discounted pack of six bookplates.

Note: This is an ‘extra’ item, and will only be shipped with the purchase of a book or artwork.
